Story

I first became aware of Salvation Army Homes when I was matched with one of their adult services to complete my final year university placement.

I had no idea such services existed, it was truly eye opening & a significant learning experience as unbeknown at the time it was the beginnings of my career.

The passion had been ignited and following completion of my placement I secured a support worker position with a service for young males.

I have now been the deputy manager for this service for the last two years.

Being part of a resident’s journey is a true privilege and I am lucky to be part of an organisation who strive to deliver the highest standard of support and empower residents to have greater control and independence.
