Sam was appointed as an Independent Member to the People and Organisational Development Committee in November 2025.
Sam is currently HR Director for Lloyd's Register's maritime operations business, responsible for leading the delivery of People strategy to 3,000 colleagues across 72 countries.
Prior to this, Sam worked as a consultant at both EY and PwC, where he supported large global clients across a broad range of issues across the reward, people and culture agenda.
Sam is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).
